Just 15 to 20 minutes from the cruise ships. Most beach sites are not far from where the cruise ships dock and all beach sites like the Junkanoo Beach Club are within a few minutes of each other. Taxis provide the only means of transportation and the usual round trip fare is $15 per person to the Club. Some other destinations nearby may only be $10 per person by taxi but that saving may not seem like much when you consider some of the advantages offered by the Beach Club.

No long, hot, time consuming walk to the beach. The time you waste on a long walk to and from the beach is time that could be spent enjoying the beach. At the Beach Club guests are dropped off at the front door and in less than a minute or two you are standing on the beach.

Can you really enjoy your time on the beach if you are constantly looking at your watch worried about missing your return to the ship? Enjoy your beach time to the fullest at the Club. Transportation is just a few feet away. Most taxis all leave for the harbor at the same time so you will know when it's time to pack up and leave. If you haven't prearranged your return there are a number of taxis that would be happy to take you back to the harbor.
Best value in town. Admission is only $5 per person. This includes one beach chair, one umbrella per couple, use of showers, changing rooms, kayaks and pedal boats. 

Restaurant and bar.
The large, cool, shady, deck, right on the beach, offers a comfortable respite from the sun and elements. Seating exists for two hundred people and bathing attire is welcomed. Our prices won't break your budget: Local beers (German brew-masters) and imported beers are sold at discounted prices. For lunch, American dishes such as 8 oz. Angus burger are available or tasty, native seafood's dishes consisting of fish, or conch with French fries, potato salad or coleslaw; again, all at reasonable prices. In addition, we offer a low priced lunch special with beverage every day. Don't overlook our resident conch man who serves up delicious conch salad in a clean, sanitary environment.

Create a lasting memory of your visit to Grand Bahama. Walk to the end of our dock and take a picture with the Club in the background. Our staff will be glad to assist if you need another hand with the camera. (Our staff all wear uniform Tee shirts with name tags). The dock was built for the romantic comedy, Zeus and Roxanne, starring Steve Gutenberg and Kathleen Quinlan. It is the only dock of its kind on the island. For only $19 you can take advantage of our superb one hour snorkel trip to the most popular reefs on the island: Rainbow or Treasure reefs are only five minutes by boat from our dock. Included are a licensed captain, guide and all equipment. This value cannot be beaten.  

Straw Vendors.
There are a number of straw vendors on premises that sell souvenirs items and Tee shirts at the same price as anywhere else.
